About the Role
We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Brent (NW2) on a part-time or short-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable teacher who is confident delivering high-quality lessons across all primary year groups.
The successful candidate will be passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, maintaining high expectations, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Whether covering planned absences or supporting the school during a fixed-term period, you will play an important role in ensuring pupils continue to receive an excellent education.
Main Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as required.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and abilities of pupils across different year groups.
Establish a positive and purposeful learning environment using effective behaviour management strategies.
Assess, monitor and provide constructive feedback to support pupil progress.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents to promote a supportive school community.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and uphold high teaching standards.
Maintain accurate records in line with school policies and procedures.
Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and the school's values at all times.About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching within a UK primary school across a range of year groups is desirable.
Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with the flexibility to adapt to different classes.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to implement positive behaviour management techniques effectively.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching.
