Year 2 Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to kickstart your career?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a fantastic primary school based in Leigh. This is a full-time position starting this September and will run until July 2027.

What the School is Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc. or similar programmes).

An ECT looking for a supportive environment to complete parts of their induction.

A creative approach to lessons that keeps young learners focused and inspired.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

What We're Looking For

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

You must have the legal right to work in the UK
