GSL Education are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Chesterfield, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher in Chesterfield, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them thrive both academically and personally. You will work closely with a collaborative team to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the unique needs of each learner.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver creative and inclusive lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
Support students’ emotional and academic development in a nurturing environment.
Provide tailored one-on-one and small group instruction.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to support holistic development.
Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
Must be a driver due to the location and nature of the role.
Experience or strong interest in working with SEMH students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
Trainee or early career teachers are welcome to apply.
