Teach and support KS1-KS2 pupils with SEMH needs in a therapeutic, specialist primary setting.

A specialist secondary school in Hillingdon supporting students aged 11 to 19 with social, emotional and mental health needs. A primary provision has been introduced to support younger pupils requiring early intervention and tailored support. All students have an EHCP and benefit from a safe, inclusive environment with a curriculum designed to build confidence, resilience, and positive learning habits.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to support young learners with complex SEMH needs. You will plan and deliver structured, differentiated lessons that promote engagement, emotional well-being, and academic progress.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Create a nurturing and structured learning environment
Develop and deliver creative, targeted lessons across the primary curriculum
Encourage social and emotional development through consistent behaviour strategies
Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families
Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom cultureRequirements -
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
Experience teaching primary pupils with SEMH or SEND
Excellent behaviour management and emotional support strategies
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
A calm, resilient, and adaptable teaching styleOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted
