GSL Education are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join a lovely school in Rotherham. This position is well-suited to a teacher who is ready to take on a new role where students’ learning and wellbeing are at the centre of everything.
We are looking for a teacher who can build strong relationships with students, create lessons that are exciting and inclusive, and work closely with colleagues to support every student’s progress.
Main Duties:
Teach a class of primary-aged students, supporting their academic and social development.
Plan lessons or deliver pre-prepared content confidently and effectively.
Promote consistent routines that help students feel secure and focused.
Respond to individual needs by adjusting your teaching style and pace.
Work in line with the school’s policies on behaviour, safety, and learning.
Record and report progress as needed, working closely with school leaders and parents.
Take part in training sessions and contribute positively to school life.
Primary Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
Classroom experience in a primary setting is preferred.
A clear understanding of how to manage different learning abilities within the same group.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of safeguarding and welfare at all times.
