GSL Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rotherham from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional to make a real difference in pupils’ academic and personal development.
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, creative and engaging lessons across the primary age range, tailored to meet the individual needs of your pupils. You will foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages progress, independence and enthusiasm for learning.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver and assess well-structured lessons by the national curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where all children feel valued and motivated.
Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils.
Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting instruction accordingly.
Promote excellent behaviour and maintain high expectations for learning and conduct.
Engage with parents, carers and the wider school community to support pupil achievement.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including planning and participating in extra-curricular activities.
Candidate Requirements:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Proven experience of teaching in a primary school setting and creating a stimulating learning environment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to safeguarding pupils' wellbeing.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
