Are you motivating and enthusiastic Primary Teacher with SEN experience thinking about making a difference in the lives of children and young people?
Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to work within a Specialist School for September 2025!
Position: Primary SEN Teacher
Location: Lewisham Borough
Start Date: September 2025
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and Deliver Lessons: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
Support Student Development: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being.
Monitor and Assess Progress: Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
Classroom Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom.
Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and contribute to school events and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience: Proven experience in teaching at the primary level. SEN experience preferred.
Education: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Skills: Strong communication, creativity, and classroom management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
