Role Overview:
You will be teaching across the primary curriculum, ensuring each child receives the support and challenge they need to succeed. These schools pride themselves on their strong values, collaborative teams, and commitment to every pupil’s academic and personal development.
As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum
Differentiating learning to support a range of pupil abilities and learning styles
Creating a safe, stimulating, and well-managed classroom environment
Tracking and assessing pupil progress, identifying next steps and areas for improvement
Establishing effective relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Contributing to the wider school community, including participation in school events and extracurricular activities
Requirements to be a successful Primary School Teacher:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent knowledge of safeguarding practices and child development
A creative, reflective, and resilient teaching style
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
