Primary Teacher Location: Brighton Salary: £120 – £200 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term Are you a creative and passionate educator ready to inspire young learners? GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Brighton from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher to contribute to a nurturing learning environment and support pupils’ academic and personal development. You will be supported by a collaborative team and enthusiastic leadership that values innovative approaches to learning. Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Key Stages 1 and 2 pupils in accordance with the national curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports children’s emotional, social, and academic growth. Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and attainment. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure all pupils thrive. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement across the classroom. Adapt teaching to accommodate diverse learning needs, including EAL and SEN pupils. Primary School Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g. PGCE, SCITT, or BEd). Recent and relevant experience teaching in UK primary schools. Sound knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum. Strong behaviour management skills and a creative teaching style. A nurturing, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning. Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one). Why Join GSL Education?
