About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will lead a class of enthusiastic learners, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum designed to support academic, personal, and emotional development. You will be instrumental in creating a stimulating classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL.
Foster a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
Use formative and summative assessment to inform planning and monitor progress.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support holistic development.
Promote children’s social and emotional well-being through strong pastoral care.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Requirements for the Primary Teacher role:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in a UK primary setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusive education.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
