In partnership with Tradewind, a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Clayton area of East Manchester is seeking a part-time PPA teacher to join their team on an ongoing supply basis, starting after the October half term. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work across a range of year groups in a supportive and community-focused school environment.
This PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover role is ideal for a confident and adaptable teacher who enjoys working with a variety of age groups. The successful candidate will cover classes across the school while the permanent class teachers are released for their PPA time.
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, depending on the weekly schedule
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policy and expectations
Supporting pupils' learning and engagement during cover lessons
Providing consistency and continuity for children in the absence of their usual class teacher
Communicating effectively with staff to ensure smooth transitions between lessons and classes
Being a flexible, professional presence within the school teamThis role does not require full-time planning responsibilities, but the ability to adapt and teach confidently in a range of subjects and key stages is essential.

Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
