Job Title: Primary Teacher
Role Purpose: Join a vibrant primary school in Preston where you will provide high-quality teaching and learning across the primary phase, fostering a stimulating, inclusive, and safe environment to support pupils in achieving their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Plan and adapt lessons to support mixed abilities, including pupils with SEND, EAL, and higher-ability learners
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress using formative and summative assessment methods
Foster positive attitudes, behavior, and personal development through effective classroom management
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic learning and wellbeing
Contribute to extracurricular activities, assemblies, and whole-school initiatives
Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection responsibilitiesSkills and Attributes:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Ability to deliver creative and differentiated lessons to challenge and support all learners
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Resilience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for supporting children's educational journey
Desirable: experience in a specific Key Stage (EYFS, KS1, or KS2), knowledge of current teaching strategies, phonics programs, and assessment methods, experience in delivering interventions or supporting children with additional needsContract Length: 2.0
Salary/ Pay Rate: Dependent on experience
