A welcoming and ambitious primary school located in the Sale area of Trafford is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join their team as a Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher. This position will begin in November 2025 and run until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will deliver targeted small group and 1:1 interventions across Key Stage 2 to support pupils in closing attainment gaps, boosting confidence and accelerating progress in core subjects.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver focused intervention sessions in reading, writing and mathematics
Use assessment data to identify learning gaps and tailor support to individual needs
Track and monitor pupil progress closely, providing regular feedback to class teachers and leaders
Build positive relationships with pupils to support engagement and motivation
Work closely with class teachers and the SEND/assessment team to ensure consistency and continuity of learning
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethosThe school is proud of its nurturing ethos, high standards, and strong sense of community. To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
A strong track record in Key Stage 2
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
