Job Description
A vibrant and inclusive primary school in the heart of Burnage, South Manchester, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 teacher to join their Key Stage 1. This part-time Year 2 teaching position will begin in January 2026 and continue until the end of the academic year, working closely alongside an experienced teacher as part of a job share.

With a strong focus on creativity, collaboration and high expectations, the school provides a well-rounded education that nurtures the whole child.
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Share responsibility for assessment, planning and reporting for the Year 2 class
Maintain high expectations of behaviour, progress and achievement
Collaborate effectively with the job share partner and wider staff team to ensure continuity and consistency for pupils
Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the schoolAbout Burnage

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
I strong track record in Key Stage 1
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
