Are you a dynamic Primary teacher in the Chorley area?
Tradewind are currently recruiting an outstanding Primary teacher for a very popular oversubscribed Primary school in Chorley. The role is a long-term temporary role and is to start in October and is to run for the full academic year until July 2026.
This 1 form entry Primary School place a great deal of emphasis on friendship, compassion, respect and perseverance.
This Primary School is passionate about providing pupils with the skills and enthusiasm for Secondary School and offer a nurturing multi-faith environment. They provide a safe, happy and well-disciplined learning environment and have a supportive SLT.
You shall be responsible for a Year 3 class of up to 29 mixed ability pupils and have a supportive and experienced Teaching Assistant in class and a 1-1 Teaching assistant. You shall be required to plan, deliver and assess work in line with the National Curriculum and be happy to partake in Parents Evenings, sports days and school trips.
The school is located on the outskirts of Chorley and is easily accessible via car and has close links with the M61 motorway, there is a large free car park on site. The School is also accessible via public transport and has a bus stop directly in front of the school.
Essential requirements:
The ideal candidate for this Year 3 Teacher role will:
Be a qualified teacher with QTS
Have a minimum 2 years' experience
Develop good relationships with students to ensure they have every learning opportunity
Offer a range of exciting, diverse lessons that all students can access
Have high expectations on pupils in both learning and behaviour
Be part of a culturally diverse school and be part of this inclusive, nurturing environment.
