The Role:
This Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive primary school committed to providing high-quality education and a nurturing environment for all our pupils. They are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible PPA Cover Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team and help us continue to deliver engaging and inspiring learning across the curriculum.
As a PPA Cover Primary Teacher, you will work across all year groups (Reception to Year 6) to deliver high-quality lessons during teachers’ planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident practitioner who enjoys variety and can adapt quickly to different classes and age groups.
Key Responsibilities of a PPA Cover Primary Teacher:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in a range of subjects and year groups
* Ensure a high standard of teaching and learning during teacher absence
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policy
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
We Are Looking For a PPA Cover Primary Teacher Who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching in primary education (EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2) with good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
* Is adaptable, reliable, and proactive
* Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
* Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
