Year 1 Teacher – Full Time
£140 – £190 per day
Are you a passionate and creative Primary Teacher ready for a new challenge?
We’re working with a welcoming primary school in DE21 seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join their team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners at the start of their school journey in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The Role:
*
Teaching a Year 1 class full time (Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm)
*
Delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum, with a focus on phonics, early literacy, and numeracy
*
Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports curiosity and independence
*
Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs
*
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child
What We’re Looking For:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
*
Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
*
A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to early learning
*
Strong understanding of phonics and early reading development
*
A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
