Academics, acting as an agency, are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers for flexible, temporary ongoing positions across primary schools in Chesterfield.
Position: Primary Teacher (Qualified)

Contract: Flexible working pattern, temporary ongoing
School: Supportive and inclusive primary schools across Chesterfield
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay)
About the Role
As a Primary Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to inspire young learners across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in a variety of welcoming schools throughout Chesterfield. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, this flexible role allows you to work around your schedule while gaining valuable experience and making a real difference in pupils' education.
You'll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that foster curiosity, creativity, and academic growth, ensuring that every child reaches their potential in a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver creative and engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
Differentiate teaching to support pupils of all abilities and backgrounds.
Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
Uphold the school's values and commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
Candidate Requirements
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
✔ Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
✔ Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
✔ A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
✔ A passion for education and helping young learners thrive.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
