KS1 Primary Teacher - September
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher eager to make a lasting difference in the lives of children ? We are seeking a passionate Qualified QTS/PGCE Primary Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive Primary school community in Gravesend near Northfleet. Key Responsibilities of the Teacher Role
*
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND.
*
Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that fosters engagement, independence, and academic progress.
*
Work closely with both Teaching Assistants and also with the SENCO to aid the Learning of children with SEN support needs.
*
Monitor student progress closely and adapt teaching methods and resources to meet evolving needs.
*
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievement, behaviour, and interventions.
*
Work closely with families, support staff, and multi-agency professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
*
Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour through effective classroom management and modelling respectful communication.
*
Contribute to the wider life of the school, participating in enrichment activities, school events, and staff development.
Qualifications and Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
*
A degree in education or a relevant subject area
*
A strong understanding of differentiated teaching.
*
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
*
A patient, resilient, and flexible approach to Teaching
*
A genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs
*
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
