Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for KS1 pupils in line with the National Curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports early development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to support individual needs
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to deliver high-quality education
Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school communityWhat We Are Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2)
A nurturing, creative, and engaging teaching approach
Strong understanding of the EYFS to KS1 transition
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to children's welfare
Excellent communication skills and classroom management
