Job Description

KS1 Primary Teacher Location: Trafford Area Start Date: June Contract: Until end of term Hours: Monday to Friday (5 days per week) Premier Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Trafford area seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team from June until the end of term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner who enjoys supporting young learners during a key stage of their development. Role Overview: Teaching within Key Stage 1 Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons Supporting pupils' progress in phonics, literacy, and numeracy Assessing and monitoring pupil development Working closely with the wider KS1 team and support staff Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Candidate Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within KS1 Strong understanding of phonics and early curriculum expectations Effective classroom management and organisational skills A proactive, nurturing, and professional approach Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What's on Offer: Full-time role (5 days per week) from June to end of term Supportive and welcoming school environment Competitive daily pay rates based on experience Ongoing support from a dedicated Premier Education consultantPremier Education is a trusted education recruitment agency, proudly supporting schools and educators across the North of England since 2001.
