Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a new role this September?
GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Eastbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to a nurturing learning environment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. You’ll create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupil participation and achievement, while working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure every child thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching to KS1 pupils, ensuring progress and achievement for all
Plan and assess learning in accordance with school and curriculum standards
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated
Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student development
Implement school policies on behaviour, assessment, and safeguarding effectively
Participate in staff meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives
Job Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
Proven experience teaching in KS1
A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and teaching strategies
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Commitment to nurturing and inspiring every child’s learning journey
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
