Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Looking for KS2 Primary teaching opportunities in Liverpool? We are seeking a passionate and committed KS2 Primary Teacher for an inclusive and welcoming Liverpool based primary school.
What skills and experience we're looking for
Teach all areas of the school curriculum
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Maintain discipline
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
Demonstrable impact on pupils' progress in English and mathematics; skilled use of assessment and responsive teaching
Proven inclusive practice for pupils with SEND, EAL and those who are disadvantaged
High expectations, excellent behaviour management and strong classroom climate aligned to the school's and Tradewind's values
Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional developmentTo join us and be successful in this role you will need:
An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Qualified Teacher Status
A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible).
Legal right to work in the UK
5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English, Maths and Science
Undergraduate education degree or a degree in any subject and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
In-school teaching experience
