KS2 Teacher – Long-Term Cover – Merstham
Location: Merstham and surrounding areas, Surrey
Pay: £150 – £230 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Contract: Long-Term Cover, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025
A welcoming primary school in Merstham is looking for a committed KS2 Teacher to step into a long-term cover role. It’s a fantastic chance for an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher—or an enthusiastic ECT—to join a supportive school community and make a real impact on pupils’ learning.
The Role – KS2 Teacher
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
Take full responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class
Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Support pupils of all abilities to achieve progress
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Work closely with the SLT and year group team
Contribute to staff meetings, planning, and wider school life
What We’re Looking For – KS2 Teacher
A qualified KS2 Teacher with UK QTS (or equivalent)
Experience teaching at Key Stage 2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Someone who can adapt quickly, follow planning, and add value
Enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love of teaching
