Job Title: Primary Teacher (KS1/KS2) Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Location: Wakefield area (any) Job Description We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team from September. The successful candidate will have a proven track record (or strong potential) of delivering engaging lessons that inspire children to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum. Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development. Promote the school’s ethos, values, and high expectations of behaviour and learning. Person Specification Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Experience teaching in a primary school setting (KS1 or KS2). Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices. Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities. Desirable: Experience with SEND and differentiation strategies. Familiarity with phonics programs such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds. A willingness to lead a subject area or contribute to extra-curricular activities.
