Location: Aston, Birmingham B6
Day Rate: £(Apply online only), dependant on experience
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: 01/09/2025
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
We're working with a vibrant, inclusive primary school in Aston, Birmingham, that's looking to welcome a dedicated Teacher with a passion for supporting children with complex needs. Whether you're an experienced SEN teacher or an ECT with a relevant specialism, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a well-supported, purpose-built setting.
The school's on-site resource base provides tailored support for a small group of pupils with complex learning needs. You'll play a key role in the daily running of the base, working alongside a committed team of TAs and support staff to deliver a nurturing, structured and inclusive environment.
Your Role Will Include:
Leading teaching and learning within the resource base
Planning and delivering personalised, engaging lessons for pupils with complex SEN
Working closely with experienced TAs to ensure consistency and care
Managing EHCP outcomes and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with external professionals and families to support progressWe're Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS or ECT) with an SEN specialism or strong SEN experience
Knowledge of complex needs including ASD, communication and sensory needs
A calm, proactive, and team-focused approach
