We're working with a warm, welcoming primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent that is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Year 2 class teacher to join their team for the Autumn Term.
The class
26 well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils
A high percentage of EAL learners, so experience with diverse language needs is a huge plus
Strong emphasis on phonics and early reading progression
Experienced teaching assistant to support
What the School is Looking For:
A confident and creative class teacher who can hit the ground running
Someone with strong phonics knowledge and delivery (e.g., Little Wandle, Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds - any major scheme welcome)
A teacher who values inclusive learning and can adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Passion for helping children grow, particularly in reading and writing
