Teaching Assistant - Primary TA - Autism Support (Full-Time) | M16 Old Trafford| Start ASAP 🌟
Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives?
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the M16, Old Trafford area. This full-time role is to start ASAP, supporting children with mild Autism (ASC) across Key Stages.
📍 Location:
Old Trafford, Greater Manchester (M16)
📅 Start Date:
Immediate / ASAP
🕒 Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only
🧩 The Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with mild Autism
* Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
* Encourage social interaction, communication, and emotional development
* Use a patient, nurturing and structured approach to help children thrive in the classroom
* Support children in accessing the curriculum and promoting positive behaviour
✅ What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children with Autism or additional needs (school or care settings welcome)
* A calm, empathetic and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
