Location: Huddersfield 
 Salary: GBP90 - GBP110 per day (dependent on experience) 
 Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time | Temporary & Permanent Opportunities Available

Are you passionate about helping children thrive in their learning journey? We are currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join supportive and welcoming primary schools across Huddersfield.

The Role 
 
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to provide support across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. You will help create a positive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. 
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities. 
Preparing learning materials and resources. 
Encouraging pupil engagement and participation. 
Supporting children with additional learning needs where required. 
Promoting positive behaviour and assisting with classroom management. 
Helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. 
Requirements 
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. 
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people. 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
A patient, flexible and proactive approach. 
Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
Relevant qualifications are advantageous. 
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
