Exciting Opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistant in Longridge, Preston (PR3) – Full-Time, Long-Term Position! This role is based at an Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ primary school in Longridge, Preston (PR3), starting from September 2026. Role Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the privilege of working one-to-one with a Year 3 pupil with Autism, providing essential support to help them access the school curriculum through personalized approaches. In addition to academic assistance, your role will involve employing strong behaviour management techniques to ensure a positive and conducive learning environment for the pupil. School Environment: The school boasts excellent public transport links and provides a secure car park for staff convenience. It is situated in an area with below-average deprivation, and the percentage of pupils accessing Pupil Premium is also lower than average. Willingness to attend staff meetings and participate in CPD opportunities (twilights). Experience working with children's behaviour in a primary school setting.
