Primary Teaching Assistant
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Looking for a fulfilling role as a one-to-one Primary Teaching Assistant in Liverpool? An OFSTED 'good' one-form primary school is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a year 3 student with SEN considerations from September 2025 until Christmas (at the earliest). This is a full time, long-term role with the opportunity of growing and developing both within the school and the role itself.
About the Role
The main purpose of the role is to work with, support and enable a year 3 student with SEN requirements to thrive in an educational setting. Using well established knowledge and experience as a one-to-one Primary Teaching Assistant, you are required to supervise the child in a supportive and positive manner under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff. Whilst also enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who:
* Possess energy and enthusiasm
* Works well within a team
* Experienced within an SEN setting
* Experience working with students with ASD and ADHD
* Comfortable within an early years setting
* Will set and achieve high standards and expectations of learning, behaviour, and care
* Eager to develop their skills and abilities

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:
* Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
* An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
* Legal right to work in the UK
