GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a vibrant school in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children and wants to support their learning in a positive way.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will help create a calm and happy classroom. You will support the teacher with lessons and activities and help children learn and grow each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom learning by working closely with the teacher and students.
Help with reading, writing, and other daily tasks.
Encourage children to take part and enjoy learning.
Support children who may need extra help.
Promote good behaviour and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements:
Experience working in a school or with children is preferred.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through us.
