A wonderful Primary School in Southwark is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team and support students across a range of year groups. This role is ideal for a patient graduate considering a future in Primary teaching and wanting hands-on experience in the classroom.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic potential while working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting students in a range of subject areas, including Phonics, Maths, English, and Science, both in-class and through small group interventions.
Working with students who need additional support, helping to boost their confidence and understanding.
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, resource development, and classroom management.
Providing one-to-one support for students with SEND or those needing extra help with their studies.
Offering targeted support for students preparing for exams, helping them achieve their academic goals.We are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant who has:
A 1st Class or 2:1 degree in any subject.
A passion for education and a desire to work with young people.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
