Job Description
EduTalent Group is recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD in a primary school in Horsham. This is a permanent role, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on a pupil’s development and learning.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver personalised 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
* Assist the teacher in planning and implementing lessons
* Promote communication, independence, and social skills
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Implement strategies provided by the SENCO and teaching team
Requirements
* Experience supporting pupils with ASD
* Patience, empathy, and consistency
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
