Primary Teaching Assistant - Grantham
Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire
Position: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £82 - £96 per day
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Grantham. This is a full-time position supporting pupils and teaching staff across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and school needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to support learning and development.
Assist in planning and preparing learning materials and classroom displays.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and where necessary.
Support the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage pupil independence and confidence in their learning.
Help supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and school trips.
Follow school safeguarding and behaviour management policies at all times.

Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
An enhancedDBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
