GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a friendly and inclusive school in Rotherham. As a Primary TA, you will work alongside teaching staff to support learning activities, encourage positive behaviour, and help pupils access the curriculum.
Responsibilities as a Primary TA:
Assisting teachers with classroom organisation and preparation.
Supporting pupils individually and in small groups across primary key stages
Helping children engage with learning tasks and develop their skills.
Promoting a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
Encouraging good behaviour and social development.
Collaborating with staff to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
Candidate Requirements for Primary TA:
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable.
A caring, patient, and supportive approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
