GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join welcoming and vibrant schools across Rotherham. This position is a fantastic opportunity to support children’s growth while developing your own experience within the classroom.
Role Overview:
As a Primary TA, you will collaborate with class teachers to support the delivery of inspiring lessons, provide individualised assistance to pupils, and help foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
Provide individual or small group assistance to reinforce classroom learning.
Aid in preparing teaching materials and help manage the classroom effectively.
Encourage student participation and offer emotional support when needed.
Contributes to a safe, welcoming, and engaging educational space.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents/carers.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
Prior experience supporting children in an educational environment.
A sincere enthusiasm for nurturing and working with young learners.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
