GSL Education are currently seeking caring and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Chaddesden. As a Primary TA, this role is perfect for someone dedicated to helping pupils thrive academically and socially in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
Assist with lesson preparation and support teachers during lessons.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils to reinforce learning.
Support positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
Help prepare and organise learning materials.
Monitor and report on pupil progress and well-being.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting is desirable.
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps.
