Year Groups: Reception/Year 1 or Year 1/2
Salary: £95-£100 per day
Driving Licence: Ideally a driver due to school accessibility
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Primary Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils in Reception/Year 1 or Year 1/2 classes at a welcoming primary school in Winchester. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact in a supportive educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils in class and small group settings
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Support pupils' academic and emotional development
Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Experience working with primary-aged children
Enthusiastic, patient, and reliable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Ideally a driver due to school location
