Principal Audio Engineer | Cambridge

This is a high-impact opportunity to lead the architectural vision for next-generation audio processing, ensuring life-saving voice clarity.
Responsibilities
  * 
    Act as the technical authority for audio software, defining long-term roadmaps
  * 
    Design and implement advanced processing technologies
  * Collaborate with embedded software, hardware, and acoustics teams to integrate audio subsystems
  * Research emerging DSP methods and ML-based audio processing.
Technical Requirements
  * 
    5+ years of professional experience in real-time embedded audio software or DSP algorithm development.
  * 
    Expert-level C/C++
  * 
    Deep knowledge of AGC, AEC, filtering, and VAD
  * 
    Proven ability to lead complex technical projects end-to-end
Advantageous Skills
  * 
    Experience with mission-critical standards
  * 
    Proficiency in MATLAB or Python
  * 
    Knowledge of ARM platforms & RTOS environments
  * 
    Understanding of microphone arrays, acoustic system behaviour, or modern ML-based audio enhancement.
