Principal Civil Maritime Engineer

📍 Bristol or Swansea (Hybrid Working)

Our client is delivering some of the UK’s most exciting and innovative infrastructure project, and we’re looking for a Principal Civil Maritime Engineer to lead the way.

You’ll be working alongside a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team on impactful projects for major UK water authorities and the Environment Agency.

🔧 What you’ll do

  * Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams

  * Deliver and review technical designs, reports, and calculations

  * Provide expert input on maritime structures and infrastructure

  * Mentor junior engineers and help grow team capability

  * Support project delivery, bids, and client engagement

👤 What we’re looking for

  * Chartered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

  * Strong experience in maritime design (e.g. berthing structures, quay walls, port infrastructure)

  * Proven leadership in engineering design delivery

  * Knowledge of UK design standards and CDM regulations

  * Experience in the Water sector (Energy/Defence a plus)
