Senior & Principal Control Systems Engineers - Nuclear
Location: Preston - 2 days office / 3 days remote
Rate: Senior £60-£65/hr | Principal £65-£75/hr
Contract: 12 months+ | Inside IR35 - Umbrella PAYE

We are recruiting Senior and Principal Control Systems Engineers to support an early-stage nuclear programme.
The project is currently in the design phase, with a Siemens-based hardware and software platform being developed. The focus will be on functional controls, functional safety and detailed control system design, rather than software implementation.
Key Experience
Control Systems / Automation Engineering background
Functional control and functional safety experience
Control system design, drawings, graphics and technical documentation
Experience within nuclear, power, process, defence or another highly regulated industry
Siemens experience advantageous
Principal Engineers should have experience providing technical leadership and design assurance
