About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Principal Designer to take the lead on high-profile warehouse automation projects. You will ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, working closely with design and project teams to manage health, safety, and design risk from concept through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
*
Act as Principal Designer under CDM 2015, managing health and safety risks during the design phase
*
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams on warehouse automation system designs
*
Review and coordinate design information to ensure regulatory compliance
*
Prepare and manage pre-construction information (PCI) and health & safety files
*
Liaise with clients, contractors, and designers to ensure safe design solutions
*
Undertake design risk assessments and advise on mitigation strategies
