Principal Software Developer – Tech with Purpose, Code with Clarity
📍 Edinburgh or Glasgow | Hybrid (2 days in-office) | Full-time | £65–75k + profit share

What you’ll be doing
* Leading technical development, design and architecture across impactful, cloud-native projects
* Writing and reviewing clean, testable code primarily across .NET and Azure
* Evolving existing systems and designing new ones with clarity and pragmatism
* Driving engineering excellence through code reviews, performance tuning, and scalable architecture
* Coaching, mentoring, and enabling growth in others through people-first leadership
You’ll bring
* Deep experience with the .NET ecosystem and modern cloud platforms (Azure experience’s a plus)
* An instinct for designing scalable, distributed systems with the architectural patterns to back it up
* Passion for simplicity, maintainability, and quality in code
* A collaborative mindset and the emotional intelligence to lift teams as well as systems
