PRINCIPAL HIGHWAYS DESIGN ENGINEER – PERMANENT – VARIOUS (HAMPSHIRE, NORTH WEST ENGLAND OR LONDON) – DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE AND LOCATION
Ceto Talent are working with a growing independent consultancy who specialise in Transport Planning and Highway Design for small to medium scale projects across the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Principal Highways Design Engineer to join the team. This position can be based in Hampshire or North West England or London.
About your and your experience:
* You will be a degree educated engineer with significant experience of working on highway design projects
* Your experience will include the following:
* Preparing preliminary designs for highway link and junction, active travel corridors and also traffic calming schemes
* You will be proficient in the use of Civil3D software and highway design guidance including MfS, DMRB, and LTN 1/20
* Have experience of S278 / S38 Agreements
* You will have either ICE / CIHT / CILT memberships
* You will have had experience of mentoring or leading more junior engineering staff
About the position and role:

As a Principal Highways Design Engineer, you will be working with the client and transport planning team to assist delivering development planning projects across the country.
What is on offer:
The location for the role can be either in Hampshire or London or North West (Manchester) and based on your preference. Working hybrid with a mix of office and home working. The position is offered as a full-time permanent position.
Salary for the position will be dependent on experience, suitability and location (London has a weighted premium). On top of the salary is a bonus package, generous annual leave, private healthcare and more. The company also pays for membership of professional organisations and invests in training and development of its staff. There is also a real chance of progression, with many Partners (who own the business) having progressed internally within the company.
