Principal - SEN School (Ages 16-25) - Slough, Berkshire - September Start - Full-Time - Permanent

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and visionary Principal to lead a specialist SEN school in Slough, supporting young people aged 16-25 with a range of additional needs. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone passionate about driving outcomes in a further education setting and preparing learners for adulthood, independence, and employment.

The Role:
As Principal, you will provide strategic leadership, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and care across the provision. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee curriculum development tailored to post-16 learners, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the overall direction and performance of the school
Drive high-quality teaching and learning within an SEN further education setting
Develop and implement a relevant and aspirational post-16 curriculum
Promote positive outcomes in independence, employability, and life skills
Manage staff performance, development, and wellbeing
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and external agenciesRequirements:

Proven leadership experience within SEN education
Strong background in further education (FE) or post-16 provision

Demonstrable ability to improve outcomes for learners with additional needs
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
