Job Summary
Lead an alternative provision supporting students aged 5-19 who are unable to attend mainstream school. You will champion educational inclusion, build a trauma-informed environment, and drive student reintegration or progression to further education, training, or employment. A visionary, empathetic leader, you'll shape inclusive culture, strong community partnerships, and responsive learning programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead staff with dedication and promote professional growth.
Ensure a student-centred, trauma-informed approach to meet diverse needs.
Guide curriculum strategy for academic, personal, and life skill development.
Strengthen engagement with families, community, and external partners.
Advocate for students with SEND, shaping awareness and best practices.
Manage resources to maintain a safe, inclusive, and effective learning space.
Use data-driven insights to continuously improve outcomes and strategy.Essential Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial senior leadership experience.
Proven track record supporting young people with SEND and/or challenging behavior.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
