Job Description
Mechanical Engineer – Building Services
Locations: Manchester or Leeds
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team, supporting a growing portfolio of projects, particularly in the Healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical design and report to the Associate Team Leader.
*
Provide technical input and guidance to junior and graduate engineers.
*
Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
*
Carry out quality control checks on design calculations and drawings.
*
Prepare technical specification sections.
*
Contribute to engineering budgets and schedules.
*
Use software tools for mechanical building services design.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in mechanical building services design.
*
Strong communicator with good negotiation skills.
*
Passionate, motivated, and keen to develop professionally.
*
Working towards membership of a professional body (e.g., CIBSE).
*
Proficient in BIM and other design software.
*
Experience with low-carbon system design and IES or similar tools.
Qualifications:
*
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
*
