The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Safety Case Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team working on some of the UK’s most significant engineering programmes. The role
As a senior technical leader, you’ll be responsible for managing and delivering safety case and engineering activities, applying your expertise across multi-disciplinary projects and mentoring rising talent within the team.
This role will be based in Multiple U.K locations: South West, North West, Reading Area, Midlands, Scotland
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Leading the development of hazard management strategies and participating in HAZID/HAZOP studies
Authoring radiological safety assessments, including safety reports (PSRs, PCSRs, etc.)
Producing and reviewing calculations, design basis documentation, and technical reports
Managing delivery through supply chain partners and monitoring performance against cost, risk, and schedule.
Sharing best practice across projects and providing strategic oversight on safety case arguments.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Chartered Engineer status (or actively working toward it)
Proven experience working on complex, multi-discipline projects within safety case development
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Track record of mentoring or coaching junior engineers
Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant disciplineGet in touch now
