Job Description
One of my Surrey based clients has a need for a Principal Safety Consultant to work in the Oil and Gas/Renewable Energy industry. The person they are looking for must have a strong background in Technical/Process Safety working on upstream or downstream projects. Ideally you would have spent some of your time working with a consultancy and have a strong understanding of some of the following methods/skills: QRA, SIL, ALARP, FTA,HAZOPS, HAZIDS, Workshop Facilitation or Safety Cases. This role also requires someone who is comfortable managing others and leading projects. You must have strong communication skills and be able to liaise with external and internal teams/clients.
The projects you will be working on will range in size and value across the Oil and Gas sector as well as some very interesting and innovative Clean Energy schemes in Europe, Asia and Middle East.

What they need:
Senior or Principal Consultant who has a depth of technical knowledge in Technical/Process Safety
Someone who has worked on UK Oil & Gas or Renewable Energy projects
Someone who lives or wants to work in Surrey
Senior or Principal Consultant who enjoys working in a professional and forward thinking business
Someone who has worked for a consultant, EPC or Operating company on FEED projects.
Someone who has experience with: Quantitative Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, ALARP or other numerical analysis.
